Third day: morning call from jeff, woke up at 0745. then he smsed me that he wasnt coming. fever. pangsei. x.x k nvm nvm. supposed to reach yishun cc for badminton with xav,wenbin,joel choo, lionel, sicong and daryl neo at 10. reached at... 1015. improvement. played till 1400. yeah. then went to wash up at lionel's place. lol wen bin XD epic. ok dam evil. er.. along the way joel, lionel and daryl zao. then we went to catch a movie. spent 30 min deciding then finally decided to go with surrogate. i find it quite okay leh :x haiz nvm.

Hi. Sorry so long never update. Been busy talking to chiobu friends. I want to talk about them now.. One's named Olivia and the other is Trisha. They're both like so chio until I cannot take it anymore!

They have eyes that shine like stars, that twinkle so bright at night. I think words can't describe how pretty they are! It's been too long since I last saw them. :(
Now, I can only content myself by looking at their photos daily on FB, and hope to myself everyday I can see them soon..

My biggest wish now is to see them ASAP and I just wanna sing a song for them.

ohhkay. So had 2 full days of training and extra lessons this morning. so STILL waking up at 6am. X.X ahh dam tired. I WANT SLEEP! mm fine. Baked by the morning sun on the 9th for 2nd class drill test and roasted by the afternoon sun on the 10th for 1st class drill training ._. lolol nearly half the sec 2 squad were casualties XD haiz i failed my MOI for my 2nd class drill test. Shant talk about it. nvm nvm. retest on Wed. got chance!!!!!!!! jyjyjyjy :o Erh my extra lessons are always fun cuz its a small group..... really small and the teacher is Eric Tan LOL. Dam nice. He treated us to pizza hut on tuesday's lesson wooots ^^ yay oh i cant be reached by phone till I get my new SIM this sat. Long story. Went Gordon's house ystd for his birthday party. Had a heck of a time XD Started off with a basketball game at a "unique" court and then some screwing around with everyone's facebook account before watching power rangers. yea.. Jun Wei strongly recommended it. Tuned in to Vasantham after that ( Thanks Sean XD ) and learnt some... disturbing dances. Huge supply of Coke and pizza before we played truth and dare. Those moments were priceless dudes =D We pranked call some girls telling them they ordered fruits for dares and truths... the usual revelations. Super high LOL . Went for the run this morning. Colgate signed us in the 5km youth run category. -.- Prizes were really attractive but given the no. of competitors.... you get the point. Run was great haha. Jeff was ahead of everyone for the first 150m before we caught up to him and he said " cant take this anymore" XD classic. water points along the way were fun haha. Wasted in on jav and sean's eye. =X Finished in around 40 min . Partly due to us starting late -.- and photo taking LOL. All right enough talking . Pictures.

I love the taking the back seats

Sure I love taking the back seats in most things. But things are different now. We cant just sit back and wait for things to just happen. We cant just sit back and not refute ideas that we might not agree with all the time but give that "heck, just take it as it is" attitude. Sometimes we gotta voice out. We gotta step out and tell others "hey, it can be better done this way ". Just cause others are the supposedly " always correct " leaders doesnt mean they won't fumble or screw up somewhere. My point is this : dont follow blindly. Dare to be the only one who walks against the crowd when everyone else are conformists. Do what is right and not popular. Just because you arent a leader doesnt mean opportunities arent there for you to be one. Believe in yourself.

Leadership and Mentoring Skills Course! Updated

Went for LMSC Day 1 today.. er.. Nothing much that is actually significant cause we spent around 4.5 hours listening to this female Honorary Officer giving a lecture with a "impeccable" English. We had our first try on Method of Instruction ( MOI ) today also haha. Teaching isn't for me lol. Great experience for me though. At least I tried haha. Lunch as usual was.... crap. No wonder we didnt have to pay -.- Going for DAy 2 tomorrow. Hope it is as fun as its SUPPOSED to be lol.

The seniors really have a warped sense of humor. Either they thoroughly enjoyed the 1/8 of the entire time they spent in LMSC on the team-building session or they are simply extremely entertained by the NPCC lecturers whom cant even enunciate their words distinctly. Come on, "h's " from "l's" is abit extreme lol. All time favourite is when the lecturer went like " you know, like can see lightning and thunder" 14h of these is... mindblowing really.. Montford ppl was extremely enthusiastic -.- Met this Montford guy who stutters but kept spamming "YES SIR!" for God knows what. It came out as "LATER!" big joke haha. =X Our squad instructor was really nice though, kept trying stuff to bring us together during the team building games. Oh yea. We played 3 games. Erh.. one was called body parts where you have to put a certain number of body parts in a particular area.. second was.. crap forgot the name. Basically you had to sort of cross a river with two cardboards. Third was 16grid. The Montford guy really stinks... whoa. Our instructor zao xia dam funny LOL but we can really see his efforts and yep =D BEST INSTRUCTOR! Phones were kinda banned haha. Probably they realised how we abused them during PK and HFS courses lol. So a bit of pictures but here goes.

Exams are over!!! yay=D Not so excited bout the results though =X Better play as much as possible now before its out.... lol. Planning to train ball and tabbing more melodies... haha.. Haven't been really active these week =X psps. Had my 5 item napfa test today. Didnt do really well =(. Pull-ups B, shuttle-run A, sit-ups A, standing broad jump C and sit and reach E. Yep just passed my sit and reach. Cant even touch my own toes but didnt think i would do that badly T.T Total 18 points.. so far. Happier things.. Got my wallet and deo! woots. Still many wishlists but hey, its a start =D erm... still undergoing an amazing race for my backpack. Not sure to choose a sport one or those Zinc-ed ones. Pending my 4 test results... Hope i scraped an A ha=X

Just completed my 2 star kayaking course from 20-22 Feb 2009! Have a sunburn on my nose T.T but still it was, nevertheless, fun and fulling for me. My trainer, Kian , was really nice and patient as he taught us the draws and rescuing drills, which I wasn't exactly well-versed in. Wore a "skirt" during the course haha. Used to deter water from entering the kayak but lining it over the cockpit rim of the kayak. Paddled 4km to and fro from the Kallang Basin to the Marina Barrage thereabouts, near the Singapore Flyer haha. Spectecular view. Last day was the best, the trainer crapped with us and showed us some crazy moves. Don't think he even needs to be rescued when he capsizes lols... Was really fun haha. Could get on my kayak myself when i have capsized too hehe... Everyone mass capsized at the last hour.... exchanged emails at the end of the course... starting to miss it already hahax

Just came back from camp straight after CT.. Divine timing. Really exhausted from it. Deeply burdened by the attitude and initiative of the Sec 1s and even the Sec 2s.. Didnt eat or sleep much haha. What can I say.. the Sec 1s are always hungry. Really appreciate my family and the things I have after the camp =) I have learnt that being a leader is not easy and that camaraderie among the group is of the essence, in this case the leader's job to build up and maintain this good- fellowship among its members. Really glad that IM BACK!

Recently I've been really moved by this christian worship song " The Power Of Your Name". Its lyrics, not stereotyping, unlike the rest which repeat the splendor of God ( not that it's discouraged ), has a really personal touch to it, mentioning the sensitive subject on social injustice and something that most, if not all of us can relate to. Broken families, death, pain. We all have been exposed to this hurt somehow. This song affirms you that God is always there with you, carrying you through this hard times, and that he is that shelter for the hurting.
